Be sure to keep the recovery band on after treatment!
The recovery band (DuoDERM) applied immediately after treatment should be kept in place for at least 2 weeks. If wound pus causes the band to turn white or become contaminated, replace it with a new band
Be sure to apply moisturizer!
After CO2 Laser treatment, as with all laser treatments, the skin becomes dry. Proper hydration is important because dry skin can delay the healing process. After removing the recovery dressing, use a moisturizer suitable for your skin to keep the treated area well hydrated.
Sunblock is essential!
Direct UV exposure to the treated area significantly increases the risk of pigmentation and recurrence. Please apply sunscreen regularly to protect the treated skin.
Avoid excessive heat!
Excessive heat can irritate the treated area. Until the skin has completely healed, it is recommended to avoid activities that may expose the area to heat, irritation, or contamination, such as saunas and extreme workouts.
